SCARY STORIES IN THE DARK
The Victorians loved telling ghost stories for Christmas. The most famous, of course, is Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
So in this Salon, we’re going to bring this tradition back. We’ll turn the lights down. We’ll gather in a circle around the “fireplace”, and we’ll get good and scared together.
8PM-8:30PM: Author reading

8:30PM-9PM: Share your scary stories
A book that terrified you. That time you swore you saw a shape hovering outside your window at night. That other time you heard those strange creaks and scratches from the basement? Share something scary with the group.
No pressure, all fun. Teen-friendly. We’ll have some basic refreshments.
Please RSVP so we can get a sense of how many folks are interested in this event. You’re also welcome to come on by if you’re out and about.
